It is a commercial building.
Located on the ruins of the former Islamic fortress, being changed and used for the storage, distribution and selling of wheat in the town of Valencia in the XIV Century and until the end of the XIX Century.
Inside, it is Classic and has the same distribution as the Roman basilicas, and a gable roof decorated with popular murals.
It is the head office of the Valencia Museum of Palaeontology since 1908 until 1991, being administered by the City Council.
On its walls there are works of artists as known as Vicente López, José López, Santiago Rusiñol and the Benlliure brothers (Mariano and José).
Tuesday to Saturday: From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Sundays and Public Holidays: From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The monument is closed: Mondays, 1 May and 25 December.
