Mazarelos Arch

It is the only gate of the old wall that has survived and that gave access to the town.

It was built in the XI Century.

The gate with a canted round arch has attached a building on the Southern side that keeps the base of the large fortified tower that flanked the gate. Both constructions have been built with granite ashlar.
