The Mosque of Córdoba (Mezquita de Córdoba) is considered nowadays as one of the major treasures of the Arabic-Andalusian art and a key monument in the Spanish-Arabic architecture from the Caliphal period.
A place which is used for praying and delighting is, without any type of doubt, unique in the Islamic and Christian world.
It has elements from different cultures such as the Visigothic, Byzantine, Persian and Syrian; so that is how it shows its political, economic and cultural relevance in this city.
