Its wide and levelled Gothic nave with rib vaults and side chapels show us that it is a very old church although it was redesigned with peculiar Churrigueresque motives in 1741.
The tower dates from the middle of the XIII Century and on its ground floor we find the usual pointed arch.
In the decoration, we should highlight the freize of interlaced round arches, the trumpet- shaped windows framed by square arched doorway as well as the green and purple ceramics.
The great altarpiece in Renaissance style, by Joli, is similar to the one of the cathedral and the apse is polygonal and in Mudéjar style.
In one of the attached chapels are located the famous mummies of the Teruel lovers, whose remains are under the alabaster sculptures by Juan Ávalos.
