San Prudencio Basílica

San Prudencio Basílica

Built over the remains o fan 8th Century church. The lower levels of the building date from the end of the 12th century and the Romanesque apse from the 13th century.

 

In 1776 the atrium was repaired and the original façade replaced. The basilica contains tympanums of the Saviour and the Lamb of God and two bas-reliefs dating from the 11th century.
