Province of Málaga

Málaga is one of the main tourist provinces in Spain. Its airport welcomes more than twenty million travelers each year.

Its Costa del Sol is made up of municipalities like Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Benalmádena, and Estepona, among others. All of them have magnificent beaches, golf courses, restaurants, and excellent hotel complexes perfect for families.

Marbella, on the other hand, is a luxurious coastal city. Puerto Banús is the perfect place to find international brands and luxury items, as well as a wide range of nightlife. In the old town of Marbella, you will find the Plaza de los Naranjos, designed in the Renaissance style.

Ronda is one of the most beautiful mountain villages in the province. El Tajo, at the foot of which the Guadalevín River flows, has a total height of 150 meters. The charm of Ronda comes from the beauty of its old town and the large number of museums of various types it has.

On the other hand, in the capital of Málaga, you can visit the Alcazaba, one of the main fortresses in Andalusia turned into an archaeological museum that houses numerous Phoenician and Roman pieces. In the beautiful and extensive historical center of Málaga, its cathedral and the famous Pasaje de Chinitas stand out, not to forget Calle Larios, one of the main arteries of the city, beautifully illuminated during Christmas.

The Feria de Málaga, celebrated in August, floods the streets of the capital with music, celebration, and fun. Also, Málaga's Holy Week has been declared an International Tourist Interest Festival due to the monumentality of its processions.

The natural surroundings of Málaga include the region of Axarquía, where you can visit the Cave of Nerja and go diving in the paradisiacal natural site of Maro-Cerro Gordo. In Málaga, you can also witness a karst landscape if you visit El Torcal de Antequera. The more daring can walk the Caminito del Rey and enjoy views they will never forget.

The Málaga cuisine is based on delicious fried fish, sardine skewers, and refreshing creams and drinks such as ajoblanco or gazpacho.
