Cala de las Piteras Beach

In the southern area, at the border of the Orihuela district, in a semi-urban zone, you'll find this cove surrounded by rocks and with the typical Mediterranean vegetation, suitable for fishing.
Awarded the "Q" for Tourist Quality in 2014. This cove is also known as Rocío del Mar due to its proximity to the urbanisation with the same name. It features paths that surround the cove and the rocky area, connecting it with other more popular beaches.

    Beaches in Torrevieja

    The most characteristic features of this cove are its tranquillity, its clean and crystal-clear waters, and its surroundings, which are lined with dunes and abundant vegetation and palm trees.
    Finely sandy beach with a rocky area suitable for fishing at its southern end. At its northern end is the west breakwater of the Puerto de Torrevieja, making this a beach with calm waters, recommended for nautical sports.
    Beach located within the Port of Torrevieja, next to the sports marina. Situated one kilometre from the Salinas de Torrevieja, a tourist attraction, where guided tours are organized daily.
