Granada

The city of Granada is undoubtedly one of the most well-known, valued and visited on a global scale. Heritage jewels, innovative museums, or a unique urban fabric attract millions of people annually who wish to better understand a city with a unique history.

And indeed, when we think of Granada, it is inevitable that the image of the Alhambra comes to mind. A unique monumental complex that surpasses its visitor numbers every year and is undoubtedly an artistic and historical legacy of its own.

But Granada offers much more. From the Cathedral to the Royal Quarter of Santo Domingo, passing by the Royal Hospital, the Royal Chapel or the Arab Baths of “El Bañuelo”. All of this alongside other equally renowned spots that host thousands of visitors annually, such as the Abbey of Sacromonte, the Carmen de los Mártires, the Casa de los Tiros, the Charterhouse Monastery or the Monastery of San Jerónimo.

We cannot forget the historic neighbourhood of the Albayzín, composed of iconic streets and squares that will transport us to another era. Its viewpoints offer us different views of the city, unique panoramas that reflect the material and immaterial beauty of Granada.

All this heritage is complemented by places like the Science Park, an interactive museum entity, with various permanent and temporary exhibitions that can reveal to us how the human body works, how butterflies and birds of prey live, or how science has transformed our world. In turn, the recent opening of the Biodome has equipped the Park with a space where one can observe live animal and plant species from all over the planet. A place with educational interest that also conducts research tasks.

Its tapas bars, nightlife or the different and frequent cultural events culminate in a unique city where you could get lost for days or weeks.
