Beaches in Villajoyosa

Cala Fonda

These beaches in the northern area of Villajoyosa are characterised by their large cliffs, where the coves are small and difficult to access, yet of great beauty.

El Bon Nou

El Charco

This pebble and gravel beach is home to a watchtower that characterises it as much as the constant winds that blow there.

El Parais / El Paraiso

The Parais Beach, together with the Centro Beach, are the two main beaches in the over three and a half kilometres of coastal area of La Vila.

El Tío Roig

The Tío Roig Beach, together with Estudiantes Beach and Varadero, form the coastline to the north of the city of La Vila.

El Torres / Playa del Río Torres

Among the numerous beaches enjoyed by La Vila Joiosa, the Torres beach has the added attraction of being the location where the Roman-funeral tower of Hercules stands.

Estudiantes

The Students Beach, located between Varadero beach and Tío Roig Beach, form the coastline to the north of the city of La Vila.

La Caleta / Cala Higuera

Among the diverse beaches of this area belonging to La Vila, Bon Nou Beach, La Caleta and El Asparalló stand out for the great transparency of their waters, at the foot of cliffs and with difficult access for the last two.

Playa Centro

La Vila Joiosa boasts over three kilometres of sandy beaches and calm waters, with Centro beach standing out, where the famous Moorish landing is celebrated.

Puntas del Moro / Puntes del Moro

Narrow strip that forms the last beach of the town centre.

Raco Conill
