El Silencio / Gavieiro / Gavieiru Beach

It is probably the most beautiful beach in the entire west, and despite its beauty, it remains untouched by tourist pressure. Spectacular islets of different sizes close it off on its edges.
This beach is within the Protected Landscape of the Western Coast. Parking is available for 5 cars, so it is recommended to leave it in the village.

    The Cabo River, which flows into the western edge of this beach, Ballota, serves as the boundary between the municipalities of Valdés and Cudillero.
    Albuerne is a pebble beach with some sand, enclosed by cliffs over 50 m. high.
    This beach, which is difficult to access, shares the western sector, composed of a row of islets, remains of an ancient fractured quartz and slate point called la Forcada, with La Gueirúa beach.
