    Location

    Beaches in El Franco

Narrow, elongated and pebbly beach, of great ecological value. With little public influx, it is surrounded by high cliffs reforested with pines, like the vast majority of western beaches.
Perhaps the most interesting of this group of beaches carved within the geological formation of the cape series. A beautiful cove of quartzitic gravels, where the dominant materials are slates and quartz.
It is a beach of great beauty and very safe, despite being rocky. A small tombolo connects it on its right side to the islet El Rego, whose summit can be reached via a path.
