Beaches in Gozón

Aguilera

Coarse golden sand, strong waves and few visitors.

Aramar

Made up of boulders and rocks, this beach located in a cove closed off by islets.

Bañugues

Nestled in a cove where interesting Paleolithic sites are located. It offers anchorage area, showers and cleaning service.

Carriciega / Carniciega / De Barquera

Golden sand beach located within the Protected Landscape of Cabo de Peñas, experiencing strong waves and showing a low level of occupancy.

El Bigaral / Los cristales

Small white sand beach rarely visited by the public, largely consisting of fishermen.

El Dique

Small sandy and gravel beach with low occupancy level. It offers no services.

Gargantera

Shell-shaped beach made up of rocks. The access is quite difficult and it does not offer any facilities, so it is not very frequented by the public.

La Ribera

Beach located at the end of the Luanco bay, very close to the port. With golden sand and limited facilities, it is not widely used by the public.

Llumeres

The reddish colour of this beach is due to ancient iron mines that were located here. It is frequented by fishermen.

Luanco / Santa Marina

Beach of the fishing and tourist village of Luanco, very popular with the public, equipped with all kinds of infrastructures and offering a wide range of hospitality services.

Moniello

Small cove, close to the town of Luanco, formed by pebbles. It has showers.

Samarincha / Samarinchón

Semi-urban beach with low influx of public composed of boulders. It lacks infrastructure.

Samarinchina

Small cove with low public attendance, characterised by its calm waters and a sheltered anchorage area. It has no facilities.

San Pedro de Antromero

Beach of great geological value and interesting for the fossil remains of dinosaur footprints found on it.

Tenrero / Verdicio

Interesting beach with a sand dune system of high ecological value. Formed by coarse golden sand and very popular with tourists, important Paleolithic sites are located nearby.

Viodo

Cove belonging to the Protected Landscape of Cabo de Peñas, which is difficult to access. It has no facilities

Xagó

Extensive beach with an interesting dune complex. It has a high level of occupancy and a modest hotel offer.
