Burgos Cathedral

The Burgos Cathedral is one of the most beautiful and perhaps, one of the most representative cathedrals in the country. In a Gothic style, it was founded by the bishop Mauricio. Its majestic proportions and its exterior, as admirable as its interior, should be highlighted.

In the centre of the transept, we can find the Cid and his wife Mrs Jimena´ s sepulchre. We should not forget its splendid collection of works of art: altarpieces, paintings, choir´ s set of chair, sepulchres and sculptures.
