El Rinconcillo Beach

This is the largest beach in Algeciras. Its vast length and the availability of facilities and services make it the most visited beach by local residents.
Right behind the beach, there is a dune system where work is currently underway to prevent sand loss. To its right, we find the Natural Area of the Marismas del Río Palmones. This area is protected by the Junta de Andalucía. It was also declared a Special Protection Area for Birds in 2002 and has been proposed as a Site of Community Importance. The southern end is also known as Playa de La Concha.

La Cala Arenas is a series of three coves with similar characteristics made up of rocks and gravel, accessible via a path with abundant vegetation starting from the Getares urbanisation.
