This is the first cove of Conil, the closest to the town. Being sheltered by cliffs, the beach is suitable for days with easterly winds.

Due to the presence of rocks, caution is advised when swimming.

It is located at one end of Playa de Fuente del Gallo, which can be accessed on foot when the tide is low.

A path that runs along the top of the cliff leads to Cala del Aceite.

In the walls of this cliff, there are fossil remains that reveal the geological origin of the enclave.

We also find remains of a 20th-century bunker.
The term "Calas de Poniente" refers to seven small, unspoilt coves: Cala Encendida, Cala Aspero, Cala Pato, Cala Medina and Cala Frailecillo, all of which are of great beauty and similar characteristics.
