Beaches in L'Escala

Natural cove formed by large pebbles.
Sandy cove lacking infrastructures where the wind blows strongly and creates a heavy swell. It's very emblematic because we find boats and fishermen's huts.
Small pebble cove, secluded and sheltered from the tramontana. Very close to the Ruins of Empuries.

Cala Illa Mateua Beach located in L'Escala is a 170-metre-long pebble beach.

Moll Grec Beach, located in L'Escala, is a sandy beach 500 metres long. It is named after the remnants of the ancient Greek/Phoenician dock, which are about 6 metres high.
An urban beach composed of small stones, conditioned to be part of the urban nucleus in which it is located.
It is the most touristy beach of L'Escala, with quality services and disabled access.
Pebble beach, difficult to access, which is named after a boot-shaped islet in front of the beach.
