Beaches in Vélez-Málaga

Almayate / Bajamar

Very large beach in a very lightly urbanised area. It offers hardly any services and is rarely frequented.

Benajarafe

Together with Valle Niza Beach, it forms an extensive dark sand beach. In general, it lacks good amenities, except in the areas where nearby developments are located.

Caleta de Vélez

Beach stretching on both sides of the fishing and sports port of La Caleta de Vélez. Very busy and with good services.

A very long and narrow beach in some sections, next to the N-340 road. There are several residential areas in the vicinity, from where most of the beach's users come.

Lagos / Pijil

The beach of Lagos/Pijil belongs to the neighbourhood of Lagos. It is a narrow strip of gravel with hardly any services.

Torre del Mar / Las Arenas

Urban beach of Torre del Mar. It is very extensive and offers all kinds of services. Family atmosphere.

Valle Niza
