This aqueduct is the symbol of the town of Segovia. It is the most important Roman Civil Monument in Spain. It was built in times of the emperor of Hispanic origin Trajano. It is 28.5 meters high and 818 metres length with 127 arches. It is built with granite stones that have been placed without using mortar to join them.
