Abades

Gravel and bowling beach nestled in a beautiful setting of spurges and basalt, very popular with campers.

Aguadulce / Playa de Las Carretas

This beach is accessed via a sandy path from the nearby road. It has no facilities.

Callao Hondo

Small rocky and gravelly beach, quiet and rarely used by swimmers. No facilities.

The clean and crystal-clear water of this beach creates optimal conditions for swimming. It has a low occupancy rate.

Cueva de la Arena

Small, secluded beach with crystal-clear waters, enjoying great tranquillity. Close to the Abona lighthouse.

This beach is accessible on foot with a long walk, which is why it usually has a low number of visitors. It has no facilities

El Caletón

Bowling beach, gravel and rocks, with no services. Popular with surfers due to its windy location.

El Río / Callao del Rio

Wide beach in an isolated area that offers no services. It has low public attendance.

El Sombrerito

This small beach is accessed by taking a walk, as it is not possible to reach it by car. It has a low number of visitors.

Grande

Located near the lighthouse of Abona is this golden sandy beach, which is often battered by the wind.

Las Caletillas

Moderate surf beach, with pebbles and no facilities.

Beach near the urbanisation of Abades, with golden sand and calm waters suitable for swimming.

Beach of the town Poris de Abona, which offers calm waters and is usually frequented by quite a number of swimmers.

Beach of the small town of Tajao, sheltered by the small harbour pier. It has no facilities.
