Beaches in Granadilla de Abona

El Cabezo

This beach is located a bit further away from the centre of El Médano, where the residential summer area begins. It has dark sand and hosts windsurfing and kitesurfing championships.

El Confital / Playa del Horno

Sandy beach located in an isolated area, therefore it is rarely frequented by the public.

El Médano

Beach with all kinds of amenities, promenade and anchoring area. It is quite popular with the public.

As its name suggests, it is a small beach located in the urban centre of El Médano, opposite the fishing port. With dark sand, this beach practically disappears at high tide.
