Beaches in San Sebastián de la Gomera

Aguila

Small rocky beach, fairly secluded and with strong waves, which means it is not often visited. Access is usually by boat.

Avalo

Easily accessible beach on foot, but situated in a somewhat degraded environment. It does not provide any kind of service.

Chinguarime

Nestled at the bottom of a ravine, this beach can only be accessed by boat. In return, it allows you to enjoy the surroundings in a peaceful atmosphere.

El Cabrito

Wide cove that opens at the end of a ravine. Enjoys a pleasant environment and has toilets and showers.

El Guincho

Nestled at the bottom of one of the ravines that characterise this area, access can only be made by boat, which gives it a great sense of tranquillity.

El Medio

Located between ravines, this small cove enjoys tranquillity but offers the visitor no services of any kind.

La Cueva

Black sand beach located near the port of San Sebastián de la Gomera, offering visitors a range of facilities.

La Guancha

Beach located at the end of a ravine, so it is usually accessed by boat. Enjoys calm and clear waters.

La Roja / Oroja

Isolated beach of difficult access (only by boat), without services, rarely visited by swimmers.

San Sebastián

Extensive beach located in the urban area of San Sebastián de la Gomera. It offers an acceptable level of services and an anchoring area for boats.

Tapahuga

Beach near the urban centre of Santiago, enjoying calm waters. It is not equipped with infrastructure.

Zamora

Beach between cliffs at the mouth of a ravine, small in size and very difficult to access, as it is reached by boat. It experiences strong waves.
