The Pulpí Scenic Space is not only a cultural reference in the area thanks to its varied programme of shows, exhibitions, and activities for all audiences. It also houses two interesting exhibition rooms open to visitors from Tuesday to Sunday: the Black Room of Luminescent Minerals and the Painter Pedro Antonio Martínez Room.
Black Room of Luminescent Minerals
This room offers a fascinating experience through a permanent exhibition of luminescent minerals from different parts of the world. Thanks to ultraviolet light, visitors can observe how these rocks emit surprising fluorescent colours, creating a unique visual spectacle. This collection not only allows one to appreciate the beauty of the minerals but also helps to better understand the geology and properties of these natural formations. Some are related to the mineral wealth of the area and the famous Giant Geode of Pulpí.
Painter Pedro Antonio Martínez Room
Dedicated to the work of the pulpileño painter Pedro Antonio Martínez, this room showcases a collection of his works in which portraits and genre scenes predominate. Although born in Pulpí, the artist developed his life and work outside the town. His paintings not only represent the local environment but offer a broader and more personal vision of everyday reality through his brush. His detailed and expressive style allows visitors to connect with the depth of each character and scene captured on his canvases.
Both rooms offer a unique cultural proposal within the Pulpí Scenic Space, a place where art, science, and spectacle combine to enrich the cultural offer of the municipality.
