Costacabana

The Costacabana Beach is located very close to the airport. Composed of coarse sand and gravel, it features a promenade.

La Almadraba de Monteleva

This sandy beach is located in the village of La Almadraba de Monteleva and is the continuation of Las Salinas de Cabo de Gata beach. It belongs to the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Maritime Terrestrial Natural Park, recently designated as a Biosphere Reserve.

La Fabriquilla

La Garrofa / Camping de La Garrofa

Small gravel beach. It is accessed through a private property, the campsite "La Garrofa", which has a diving club.

Las Amoladeras

This beach is located within the boundaries of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park, so it is protected. It has recently been declared a Biosphere Reserve. At the end near Torre García, there are the Roman remains of an ancient fish salting factory.

Las Olas

Beach lacking interest due to the somewhat deficient state of its natural surroundings.

Las Salinas de Cabo de Gata

Beach with excellent sand, located very close to a marshland area, so it hosts a large number of very interesting birds. It is part of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Maritime-Terrestrial Natural Park, recently declared a Biosphere Reserve.

Nueva Almería

This beach is connected to San Miguel beach, and shares all its services, facilities and leisure offers.

Retamar

Retamar Beach takes its name from a nearby urbanisation and is equipped with facilities typical of a beach prepared for tourism.

San Miguel de Cabo de Gata

Quiet beach of excellent quality with good services and a privileged natural environment. It belongs to the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Maritime-Terrestrial Natural Park. Declared a Biosphere Reserve.

San Telmo

Beach with difficult access due to a steep and somewhat dangerous embankment lacking any kind of service.

Torregarcía
